Hello Everyone.
Sorry it has been so long, seems like time is flying by so fast that I cannot keep up. Quick update:

Donald: Is into so much I will just give you the link to his blog and you can read for yourself; http://donaldely.wordpress.com/. Stephanie is at home with Jasper now and is still looking for a full time teaching job for the coming school year.

Micky made E5 - 2nd class, congratulations Honey. Is continuing to achieve his goals as a submariner and has become a father again for the second and final time. Lucas was born March 24, 2011. The Family is doing well.

Jasper is changing everyday and we got to spend a week together at the end of June, unfortunately I was sick most of the week, but we did manage to get to the water park and the beach. Talking more everyday and is still very much into Toy Story. We tried to take him to see Cars 3, but only made it through the first 30 minutes. I think it was a little beyond him at this time. Maybe next year.

Symber, as I am told, and know from spending time with her this past may, although it was not long enough, is very funny. She is a sweet and pretty little girl. Just wish she was closer so that we could spend more time together. She was a joy to watch and Mommy says she is talking more and repeating other things that are said.

Lucas, is doing well. He is now 3 1/2 months old and there is still a debate about who he looks more like. From the nose up is definitely his Daddy and the mouth belongs to Mommy so there is it. Don't care what others say. LOL He will be Lucas, his own person just like the others, no matter who he looks like. Get to see him again at the end of the month. Can't wait.

As for Ronnie and I, we are looking forward to our first vacation together. Just us, I cannot even remember the last time we took a trip without anyone else or just going to visit someone. Can't wait. Going to the mountains to enjoy the scenery and relax for a few days. Will post some pics when we get back.

Connecticut

Hi Everyone,

Our trip to Connecticut was fun and meeting our new grandson was exciting. He is such a small thing and sounds like a seagull when he cries. Just wished they lived closer so that we could spend more time with him. But duty calls and he has to be where Daddy is stationed. Worse thing about being a grandparent... Not being able to see your grandchildren when you want to and having to rely on pictures to watch them grow. Next trip: Georgia to visit with Symber and celebrate her first birthday. Looking forward to seeing her again and getting to know her. Hopefully I can stretch the trip into an extra day. Until next time... Be happy

Our newest addition was born today at 1:05 pm, weighing in at 7lbs - 5 oz and 19" long. Boy needs a hair cut already and looks just like his Daddy. Mommy and baby are both doing fine.. Congratulations Micky & Christine.

Hello Everyone,
Hope all is well in your part of the world. Finally under construction on my craft room. So excited that I will be able to see and match colors without having to walk over to the lamp. LOL There is so much light in the new room that is shines down the street. Still a work in progress and still looking for storage solutions as I have limited room in my new space.

If anyone has any solutions as to how to organize the rest of this mess, please leave me a comment. Open to all and any suggestions. I enjoy digital scrapping but as you can see, paper scrapping is my passion.

We went out to dinner with the family last night and the booth had corners in it. Jasper tried the whole time we were there to climb up in the corner and Mommy & Daddy kept taking him down. When we were ready to leave he finally found success. He was so Happy. It is hard to believe our little man is going to be 2 next week, man where did the time go?

Hi Everyone, Wow it has been a long time. Not much really going on, Jman got him first hair cut 2 weeks ago, that was a challenge, would not sit still for nothing. But it looks so much better. Still the sweetest toddler ever. (Still Nana's baby though).

Symber is growing like a weed. She is 4 1/2 months old now and I got the cutest video of her the other day but can't figure out how to post it. But she looks more and more like her Daddy every time I see her.

Micky received his dolphins and is now officially a Submariner and I have been informed that he is just 3 qualifications away from being the highest qualified in his division. Working his ass off it sounds like and should be nicely decorated the next time we see him. Happy Birthday Honey, hope you have a good day at sea and that they do not play too many tricks on you. LOL

Have been having life problems and trying to get myself together, all I can do is take it one day at a time and lots of meds. Seriously I need a lot of motivation to get anything done these days, so if there are pictures or information you would like to have and I have not included here, please email me or contact me on face book and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Hi Everyone,

We have a new addition to the family.. "Symber Ava" was born May 13, 2010 at 5:37 pm. She was 7 lbs, 3oz and 19 3/4". And looks just like her Daddy. We are all proud of our new addition and cannot wait to see her again.

Jesse got married May 15, 2010 to Ashley and they will live in Sharpsburg Georgia. They are currently on their honeymoon and we all wish them the best and much happiness. It was nice to have everyone together again.

Ronnie is enjoying his new job (9 miles from home) and is hoping for a promotion soon. If all works the way we hope. Another school year is coming to an end (20) days left, and I am looking forward to keeping my Little Man again this summer. We are looking forward to visiting Micky in July, he was here for the weekend but that is never enough time. He is also getting ready for his first 6 month deployment and I am not looking forward to it.

Donald and Stephanie are busy, busy, busy as usual and don't know if they are coming or going but things should slow down a bit for them this summer. They get to finally take their Honeymoon in June and are going to the Bahamas. And yes I get to keep my little Man. Have fun you two and enjoy yourselves.

What has been happening..

Good Morning Everyone,

I cannot believe another year has come and gone and I am no better at being caught up, Ha Ha. To those of you I usually send Christmas cards to, so sorry but I did not get them out this year. So much to do and so little time so here is a quick update.
Ronnie and I just celebrated our 28th anniversary, and we hope to have at least another twenty eight years together. Ronnie is settling into his new job and OMG still liking it. It is just 9 miles from the house and he has worked more overtime since November than he has in the last 10 years. This is a good thing. Seems to get along with everyone and that is a plus. Comments on how that place is like none other that he has ever worked. And of course I am still driving a bus (in my 14th year) and yes it still has it's challenges and we will leave it at that.

Donnie and Steph are well, extremely busy as always and are into so many different things I am not sure what to write. I know he has a lot of other projects in the works but it is getting harder to keep up with him. Steph is frustrated at her job and is looking forward to June. Hopefully next year she can get a teaching job closer and will be less stressful on her and the boys. It is hard to believe Jman is about to turn "One". He has about 8 teeth, is walking all over the place and starting to get a mind of his own. And sometimes really pushes that issue, LOL. He still continues to be the happiest baby ever as long as he can play and is not forces to take a nap. Wow, what more could we ask for. Miss not being able to see him all the time, but June is coming and I am looking forward to having him again while mom once again goes back to school to continue working on her Masters.

Micky is still loving the Navy and has been out to sea for a couple of short trips and seems to be training hard. He has already acquired the signatures that he needs for his first card (not real sure what that means) and is continuing to work toward his dolphins. He started out in radio, switched to computers and is now back in radio doing something with the computers. Yes I am confused also. He will go back to school for March and April to learn more on this new job of his. His first deployment is fast approaching and I am not looking forward to him being gone for so long. But that is life in the Navy. We found out the the baby is going to be a girl and now we are just praying that she is healthy. Little one is suppose to make her appearance May 17th or there around. I believe they are trying to schedule the birth to assure Micky can be there. Will keep you posted on that. We hope to be able to meet our granddaughter when we head south for my nephews wedding on May 15. It is going to be close. If not, there will be a trip down south sometime this summer.

Little man is now 20 whole pounds, and had 6 teeth with 2 more trying to break through. He is such a good little man, love having him as much as possible. Until next time .... Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

It is that time of year again when we celebrate what we are thankful for: life. love and health are mine.

Again, I wish the holidays would just pass us by. So much preparation and boom it is gone. Oh well, what are you going to do.

Plan on spending time with family and fiends and missing Micky and wishing he would be home for the holidays. Another year without my complete family.

Jasper is growing like a weed, he now has 6 teeth and will be walking very, very soon. He is what will make the holidays bearable. He is such a good baby and is happy all of the time, except when he starts sinking into the leaves. Can't wait to see what happen in the snow.

All is well with the family, Donald and Steph are busy as usual and constantly on the run. Which gives me more time with little man. Pop now refers to him as "A Nana's boy" but that is ok.

Ronnie loves his new job at Dalhgren, and seems to like all the guys. Says it is like no other place he has worked. Everyone works together instead of against each other. I still say there is no such place, LOL.

Micky is about to take his first under water adventure and we wish him good luck and God speed. He will no longer be a radio man but has accepted a position to work on computers (no surprise there). Think he will be much happier in the long run. His baby is due in May and we hope to see him/her when we venture down mid May. Hope all goes well and that I have another healthy grandson.

I am hoping to have time to get back to scrapping over the holidays, I am now about 2 years behind, Ha Ha. So I will try and up date the videos as soon as possible.

Hope all is well with you. We are up and running for the new school year. Work is good, love the new bus and Ronnie is waiting for that call to accept his new job at Dalhgren.

Donnie and the family are all well. Jasper is growing very quickly and has gotten his first two teeth.

Micky is graduating on Oct 15 and looking forward to going and seeing him again. He is to be a Daddy in May and we are hoping for a boy. He has his sub assignment but still does not know when he will make his first deployment. Wish him well and please keep him in your prayers. He could use them right now.

The weather is changing finally, thank God, and looking forward to seeing the fall in Connecticut. That is all for now, until next time....... God Bless

Hello Everyone,

Well another summer has come to an end and has been quite enjoyable. Have enjoyed seeing Jasper on a weekly basis and getting to keep him over night and watch his growth progress has been amazing. Going to miss having him so often but will take the time I can get.
School starts tomorrow, can't wait to see what this year brings.

Got to visit Micky and Jessica, the area up there is quite pretty, they have a cute little house and it is only a two minute drive from the base. He continues to do well in school and is looking forward to graduating in October. And we are looking forward to seeing him again. We are so proud of him. He will be staying in Groton. Glad of that, I was afraid he would be stationed on the west coast. At least we will be able to see him sometime in the next 4 years.

Jasper is coming along, he is now rolling all over the place. He slept in him crib for the first time this past weekend and did well. He is finally getting to big to sleep in the swaddling swing. Over the summer he has gone from newborn clothes to between 3 and 6 months. Still probably only weighs 14 to 15 pounds, but is steady getting longer. He is such a joy and is always smiling. Oh the joys of Grandparenthood.

Ronnie has again applied for another job at Dalhgren and we are awaiting the out come of this job. Last shot people, so you better get him in this time. I am so tried of filing applications it is not funny. Wish him luck.

Summer update

Good Morning Everyone,

Sorry, but I have been busy trying to keep up with Jasper. At his last Drs. visit he was up to 12 lbs 4 oz and 23 1/4 " long. He is still small but growing more everyday. Raising babies is definitely for the young. Don't get me wrong, I have had the best summer in a long time. He is such a happy baby and loads of fun. Being able to watch him grow and develop on a daily basis has been priceless. With school starting I am just going to have to settle for weekends and holidays until summer returns.

All is well, Have not gotten the things done this summer that I had on my list, but oh well, there is still time.

Donald has landed a couple of free lance jobs, Baltimore Magazine for the last six months and they have extended his contract for another six months, and Style Magazine for two publications and it is making me mad that I cannot find the issues around here. So I have not seen that work.
Steph is continuing her education, she took a course this summer and will go back full time in the fall. She is going for her masters in education.

Micky continues to do well in school and is still planning on graduating in October, from there he will get his first deployment and hopes to stay on the east coast. That would be great considering flying long distances for me is not an option. We are leaving in a week for a visit up north, hoping it is not too cold yet. Looking forward to seeing him again and where he has been living for the last year. Keep him in your prayers in hopes that he can contiue to do well in these last and hardest stages of his schooling.

Amanda is getting ready to start her second year of High school. She had a rough start but finished strong her first year. We will see.

Ronnie is still trying to get transferred to Dalhgren, and we are waiting hear to the out come of his last application. As of Aug 24 I will be back on the bus and hoping that this year will be better than last. That's about it, nothing too exciting but an update non the less. Hello All, Well I finally did it. I took third place in the Before and After challenge on the scrapbook site that I post for. It has only taken me a year to win an award. There are so many talent scrappers on this site I am surprised I won anything. But Bear did it for me.

A quick note on Micky: He continues to score in the 90's on his tests and seems to be really happy with school. Thank God. Keep up the good work Honey.

Jasper went to the Doctors Thursday and weighed in at 12 lbs 4 ounces and is 23 1/4 " long. He is starting to discover that his hands do work, LOL and loves to watch Dora the Explorer. He is such a good baby as long as you keep him fed. I am having a ball keeping him. What a joy.

Hello Everyone, Just a quick update. Micky is doing well so far, is scoring in the 90's on his tests. However, he did play football one night with his friends and tore some ligaments in his ankle and is now in a cast for 3 weeks at least, and will do physical therapy for about 3 months. Then we will see. Good thing about him being in the Navy, he has to go to the Doctors, Ha Ha. No more of letting things go. I made this page for him to give him a little laugh. Well another school year is coming to an end. Yeah!!!!!! Can't wait, will be baby sitting Jasper for 5 weeks while Mom goes back to school. Can't put a price tag on that. He is growing so fast, hard to believe he is almost 4 months old. Last check Donald is covered in poison ivy and Steph is still running her butt off. Ahh, to be young again. NOT! Micky has sprained his ankle and will be a long time in healing. He is also extremely busy and has started "A" school. Said he is very tired but enjoying living in a house instead of at the barracks. Jessica has finally joined him and they are trying to settle into married/military life. Double duty there. Ronnie is back to umpiring and we have survivied our first year with having Amanda in the house. Wasn't all that bad, unless you ask Ronnie, Ha Ha. To me it was like having Micky home again, only in female form. For Ronnie it was a female period. I still say, Thank God for boys. Oh well, life goes on. Until next time.......

Hello Everyone,

Had a great visit with Micky, but of course it never lasts long enough. Took lots of pictures and have lots to scrap so check back. Jasper got to meet Uncle Micky and I plan on getting a computer cam so he can watch him grow and Jasper will know his uncle. Micky starts "A" school on May 26 and will graduate in October. Until then I will have to find some way to go see him.

It's never easy to say good bye, it seems like that is all I ever do. Chance was excited to see his Daddy, but doesn't understand where he went. Chance is doing good with his training and is learning that he does not run this house. Still have a long way to go. But he is smart and learns fast. Until next time, take care all.

Chance, Jasper and Renovations

Chance has a new playmate. He gets so excited when Jasper comes to visit. He has taken on the role of protector and worries over him like a mother hen. Also enjoys giving him a bath even though his tongue is bigger then Jasper. Someday they will be romping around together, until then Chance will just have to be patient.

Passed another mile stone in the renovations of the bed room. The wall has finally come down. Talk about weird. Now we have all kinds of room. Cannot wait for this project to be finished. Hopefully by the end of summer, this phase should be done. Still have to finish the room upstairs before we can move the office up there and make the room down stairs our closet. Lots and lots of work to do.

Hello Everyone,

Just a quick update, Mommy went to the Doctors yesterday and has been given a clean bill of health. I know she will be glad to drive again. Peanut will be 6 weeks tomorrow and his weight is about 7 lbs, 2 ounces and 20 " long. He is growing like a weed, although you can't really tell by holding him. Looking forward to spending another weekend with Jasper and his parents. We are going to color eggs on Saturday.

Micky is well, says he is extremely busy with school and stuff. Sounds like him, but his health has improved and he sounds good. Should finish up Techno school with in the next two weeks. Then on to the biggie: A school.

Amanda is continuing to do well in school. We made the decision to take her off the high school softball team, which is definately their loss not hers. It is a long story but she will be happier playing on a better coached team. You just can't fix stupid.

Bring on the summer, I am ready for vacation.
